WOZZECK The WOZZECK production in Lille (opera Lille) was an exceptional experience! A special orchestra adaptation under the musical supervision conductor Lorraine Vailliancourt. The whole cast was overwhelmed by a humanity and professionalism seldom experienced in theater today! This can be accredited to Caroline Sonrer's (general director) 1st class administration team, (the lovely Alice) as well as the artistic talent and vision of stage director Jean Francois (Johnny French) Sivadier! The video, unfortunately, does not capture all the nuances it should. This is the "Barrack" (Kaserne) scene between Tambourmajor and Wozzeck. (with the exceptional talents of Andreas Scheibner as Wozzeck!) Also seen here is Petri Lindroos as the doctor and Mathew Beale as Andres.
